Astro, the morning star

The only thing I’ve been able to think about for most of the past couple of days was an event happening thousands of miles away. As I posted a few weeks ago, my brother Astro is having his first ever art show; it debuted in Kingston yesterday afternoon. Astro is a prodigiously talented digital artist, despite having considerably greater challenges than most of us will ever have to contend with. Emails, blogs and Facebook posts, and Flickr photos are telling the story today; the opening was an even bigger success than we could have hoped. As I wasn’t able to be there (I’m in England, he’s in Jamaica, large body of water in between) I have to rely on others to tell the story. So … follow the link to Jamaica Journal for a lovely report and photo album on the event. > Astro, the morning star.

Hi Stephanie. I checked out all the photos on Facebook. Looks like it was amazing. I hope Astro is happy and pleased. Hope you are well. Just wanted to say Hi. More love later. Diana Lyn

  • I love stories.
