In honour of Jamaica’s 50th year of independence celebrations today, and my countrymen Usain Bolt and Yohan Blake’s exploits last night – and also because I’m still not getting around to much blogging of my own – here’s what an Olympic-class reader thought of John Crow’s Devil by the Jamaican writer Marlon James.
